重点项目: 这 is a year-long academically based freshman program. 焦点 provides resources and information for first year students to assist them in making a successful transition from high school to college, and in making informed choices about their course of study and future career options. (3 Credits in the Fall and 1 Credit in the Spring)

校对: 的目标是 校对 program is to provide free 校对 services to the Marist Community. 这 is accomplished through staffed 校对 hours In-person and through our online 校对 service. Trained writing tutors will review student papers on-line through Brightspace.
- In-Person Proofreading is available Monday through Friday 11:30 am to 1:30 pm in LB 331 and Monday through Friday 7:00 pm to 9pm in LB 3rd floor lounge by 职业服务.

专业的公平: 这 annual event brings together representatives from all 专业 offered at OG体育平台. Students are given the opportunity to speak with Deans, 教师, and upperclassmen in their major areas of interest.

课程
批判性阅读和思考: 这 course is designed to develop the critical and inferential reading skills required in all college work. Using college-level reading materials in various genres and disciplines, the student will practice principles of analysis as well as comprehension of content. (1)
大学中级写作: 这 course is specifically designed to prepare the student to do well in Writing for College. Activities will consist of exercises in the mechanics of writing, as well as basic organization of different types of college level-essays. Reading and vocabulary skills will also be a part of the instruction. Students will be taught 信息rmation Literacy and Presentation skills. Students are placed into this course based on writing scores on standard college entrance examinations. (3学分)
自我发展: Exposes students to a practical self-management model that enables them to increase academic and personal achievement in a college environment. (3学分，每学期提供)
职业规划与决策: 这 course helps students identify and discover career-related skills, 利益, 个性风格, and possible career paths related to 专业 at Marist in order to help the student focus on career plans. (1)

高中课程
的 学术学习中心 coordinates three programs for current high school students.
桥梁计划 allows a high school senior to take 12 credits at the Marist campus at half tuition.
我们的 高中1年级 allows high school students the opportunity to take one course at OG体育平台 for $125/credit.
的 学校/学院项目 allows students to take courses at their local high schools for Marist credit for $100/credit. 的se courses are taught by high school 教师 who have been vetted and approved by OG体育平台. A high school must be part of this program in order for students to take these courses.
